The miniatures are highly detailed and full of character - and that includes the robot machines of The Purge! The kickstarter set is also rammed full of bonus miniatures which were stretch goals on the highly-successful campaign and again all of these are fantastic! My biggest regret is that the weather is so bad that I can't get out to spray undercoat the minis and get going with painting!
The set is heavily card based in that the suit is rammed full of terrain components (walls, crates, desks, chairs, wall-lockers, signage and girders), character cards, counters and event cards! All of these components are full-colour, beautifully detailed and produced with very high-quality card which I'm sure will stand up to a lot of punishment. That's a relief because I plan on making use of this set a lot! There are also dice which have a good weight to them and a number of other components (which I don't have the time to fully list here) but can confirm that they are also all good quality.
Finally, the rulebook is stunning! It's a hardback, full-colour, glossy tome which is beautifully realised! It is packed full of all the rules and background you need to immerse yourself in the Core Space Universe!
You can expect more posts and a proper review of the actual game on the blog soon - watch this space! Enough words though, on with the pics!
Core Space Set: Note that this includes all Kickstarter stretch goals which will not be part of the retail set. Also, I have only photographed one side of each sheet of card supplied; these are of course double-sided and there is no difference in the quality of the "flip-side"!

A few extra components - Event Cards and Crew Dashboards. There's also dice, loads of pegs and a few other minor components hidden under these! Every last inch of the box is rammed with goodies!
The gaming mat. There is one of these in the Cyberpunk set too.
